Depending on style and saturation, about 5-7 years.

Lips can be sensitive, but the procedure is never painful. I often have clients opt for no numbing because their pain level is very manageable.

Lips can be swollen and slightly tender immediately after the procedure, but this subsides within a few hours.
The color will darken over the next day or so, appearing more intense. Some clients experience a bit of flaking and peeling between days 3-5, others don’t. They are superficially healed after 5 days, but the deeper layers take a full 8 weeks to heal.
The most important thing to do during the first five days is to keep the lips moisturized with the Aquaphor provided and to limit all contact on the lips by drinking through a straw, eating with a fork and knife, avoiding taking bites out of food, and avoiding activities that involve the mouth.

It’s recommended to use Aquaphor during the first week of healing, but after 7 days it's ok to apply other lip products.

The cost of the procedure is $650 for the initial session and $150 for the 8-16 week touch up. The initial session involves a thorough consultation, custom shaping and color match, and aftercare products for healing.
The touch up appointment is important for tweaking anything that didn’t heal perfectly the first time and/or making adjustments to shape/color if necessary.
